SBA & USDA to Present Rural Strong Workshop on Sept. 17

On September 17 representatives from the Small Business Administration and the USDA Rural Development Agency will present a workshop at 10 a.m. to noon at 115 N Williams in Moberly. Lending products and rural programs will be the focus of this small business seminar. This “Rural Strong Workshop: Powering Rural Small Businesses” session will feature presentations about SBA and USDA Rural Development Lending Programs, Rural Loan Fee Reductions, SBA Incentives, Small Business and Entrepreneurship Services, and more.
Local government and community organization representatives are also welcome to attend. There will be ample time for questions. There is no charge for this workshop.
GrowMidMo is hosting this training at the Moberly Area EDC office. Preregistration is requested but not required. All SBA programs and services are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis. Reasonable arrangements for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance. The SBA and USDA have partnered to host roundtables and trainings in rural America to help start, grow and expand small businesses, work together to improve investment opportunities in rural areas, improve innovation for rural technical assistance providers and provide tools for rural businesses to export products around the world.
